SSI Diagnostica has a long tradition of developing and producing high quality antisera, antigens, culture media, and innovative diagnostic tests. We also market products for veterinary diagnostics, food control, as well as environmental and hygiene control to the global market.

Our products are used by national reference centers and hospital laboratories worldwide for microbial detection and to guide treatment. In 2016 SSI Diagnostica A/S came as a spin-off from Statens Serum Institut and we are thereby building our business on decades of knowledge and experience. After the divesture of SSI Diagnostica, many new and exiting initiatives have been carried through. We have upscaled and invested in production facilities and modern equipment contributing to better working environment and increased product quality. In 2020 we bought the US founded CTK Biotech to expand our portfolio including fast diagnostic tests within infectious diseases among others, and to enhance our distributor network. SSI Diagnostica’s latest transformational acquisition from 2022 is the Virginia-based firm TechLab Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of rapid infectious disease tests for gastrointestinal and enteric diseases.
