The Nucleopore® DNA Stool kit is designed for the efficient Isolation of both microbial & host genomic DNA from fresh and frozen stool samples.
The kit contains a special Lysis Buffer FL1 which, in combination with a 5 minute heating step, leads to a chemical disruption of membrane prior to a mechanical lysis of he sample material using using Nucleopore® Beads Tubes Type A (containing ceramic beads) and a mechanical disruption device.
