During cultivation of pathogenic microorganisms, researchers can handle the tube while protecting the sample from infectious contaminations. Culture tubes are sterilized after complete packaging to eliminate contamination. The air through the culture tube can be filtered by 0.22 μm syringe filter in the center of the tube cap.
